We're pleased that you are considering visiting us at Milldale Baptist Church in Zachary, LA! Here is some of what you can expect at one of our worship services:
Our morning service is starts at 10:15 am. People usually come a few minutes early to find their seats and to prepare for worship.
We believe the preaching of God's Word is not only a continuation of worship, but that it is at the very center of faithful Christian worship.
In some services, we also administer the biblical ordinance of baptism for those who have come to faith in the Lord Jesus. Baptism is a sign of the union between a believer and the Lord Jesus Christ. We also administer the Lord's Supper, through which Christ graciously communes with His people and nourishes their souls by His Spirit through their faith in Him.
We also warmly invite you to have lunch with us, free of charge, in our fellowship hall immediately after the morning worship service the first Sunday of every month. Our church enjoys fellowship during lunch as a time to catch up with one another and encourage each other in the Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you will join us.
You will find that people at Milldale don't all dress the same for public worship. Some dress formally while others others more casually, but everyone is seeking to honor the Lord in what they wear.
We also provide child-care for children up to the age of 4, and we encourage parents to take advantage of this service.
We invite you to worship our Triune God with us! We pray you will find our services nourishing to your soul as we seek to center on the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the revelation of the whole Godhead.
